Masturbation exercise for achieving orgasm? Serious answers please?

My girlfriend never had orgasm and she is frustrated because of this (she is 25). She is saying that is not my fault, she had 2 partners before me and she didn’t feel that good with any of them, but she really want to have it.
She said that she never masturbated but I heard that masturbation is a good exercise for achieving orgasm so I encourage her to do it. She did it in the beginning while we had intercourse and she said that was ok, it increased her pleasure. I convinced her to have “practice time” from time to time and she is undressing naked and we kiss. In the beginning I was touching her in this time, now I ask her to do it herself or do it together (her hand together with my hand).
Now she is feeling more pleasure when we have sex, I guess she gets more and more used with her body. I want to convince her to masturbate alone, maybe talking with me in the phone if it’s easier.
